Caffe' Michelangiolo

I stumbled upon this café as I ventured around Santa Croce on a mission to find unique cafes. When I walked in, the place was completely empty and I thought it might be close since it was later in the day. The two women working there spoke only Italian, so I had to pull up Google translate to ask if I could take photos. Even with Google translate, there was confusion in the communication, but eventually they understood that I wanted to take pictures inside and allowed me to. Though they said it was okay, one of the women seemed to not completely like the idea while the other seemed perfectly content with it.
I ordered a cappuccino and sat at a table for a while. The surrounding streets were not very busy, but eventually some more customers came in to enjoy their drinks at the bar—no more than three at a time. For the most part, I had free rein of the café while I enjoyed my drink and took pictures. It was not the best cappuccino I've had in Florence but it was decent enough. Although, I did burn my tongue on it a bit.
