Rivarno Café

Rivarno Café is located right next door from the Accademia Italiana workshops. It is right on the river, and if you sit in their outside seating you can look out across the water. I actually went into the café right after my first visit to the workshops. Since then, it has been a super convenient and tasty location to grab a quick coffee or banana bread before or after class. The shop is super bright and cozy and offers a unique selection of drinks and foods. I have been trying to order in Italian more often and asked one of the guys working their for feedback on if I did it right. He said I did, but gave me some tips to say it more precisely.
When I finally went in to take photos of café, the guys working there were so nice and supportive of it. I sat down and ordered an iced lavender latte (one of my go-to drinks there) and a carrot cake slice. After enjoying my meal and taking some photos in the back dinning area, I went up to the front to capture the action at the counter. One of the guys started cleaning up the counter for me to take my photos and they both were trying to stay out of my way. It was very sweet of them, even though I assured them both I didn't mind the movement for the photographs. I would say this has been my favorite café to photograph so far just from the interaction between the workers.
