Ghibellina Bakery & Coffee

I came upon Ghibellina Bakery & Coffee as I continued my wandering through the Santa Croce region after visiting Caffe' Michelangiolo . I was immediately "wowed" by the many pastries and breads lining the walls and glass display case. The women working there were very lovely and enthusiastic about me taking photos. I ordered an espresso and sat by the window, bathing in the light entering through the giant windows. I enjoyed capturing that light hitting the chairs and my espresso cup.
As I sipped my espresso, a woman entered with her young daughter. The women working seemed to know the pair and had a wonderful conversation full of laughter—in Italian so I had no clue what they were saying. Right before leaving I bought a pistachio croissant to-go. It was THE BEST croissant I have had in all my weeks living in Florence. As my trip comes to an end, I will definitely be going back for a last amazing croissant.
